Extinction Rebellion: Police ban London protests Officers remove protesters from Trafalgar Square after issuing a London-wide ban.
Protest update
There are currently protestors at Eastcheap and Gracechurch St, police are in attendance but Gracechurch St is now blocked south bound.
Bank update
Protestors still at Bank Police in attendance At present no reports of protestors in other areas of the city.
XR update
At present there are approximately 200 protestors at Bank. They have blocked the roads at that junction.
Tower Bridge closed
Tower Bridge is currently closed due to a pedestrian accident. Will update once bridge is reopened.
XR protest update
The roads in and around Horseferry (near Westminster) are totally blocked of by protestors. Several government departments are based around this area. Police in attendance. The protest is scheduled to last for another 13 days.
