We have become aware that Brexit Protest and Direct Action Group UK have an aspiration for 2-3 days of direct actions across the UK motorways and highways with HGV’s and other types of vehicles being used to deliberately drive slowly and block roads.
Below is a current listing that is now gaining regional media attention for areas affected.
Known actions will take place on;
22 March in
Cornwall: Bodmin to Truro (from 15:30);
Flintshire: A55 near Deeside Industrial Estate (19:00);
Lancashire: circling Morecambe Road, Caton Road and A683 north of Lancaster (18:30);
Nottinghamshire: circling M1 between junctions 26-28 (18:00);
South Yorkshire: Doncaster M18 and onto M1 (1130)
Shropshire: A5 from Shrewsbury to Telford (17:30);
Suffolk: Copdock Roundabout in Felixstowe (18:00).
23 March in
Anglesey: Holyhead Ferry Terminal blockade (22:00);
Cheshire: M62 Junction 9 in Warrington to various locations (12:00);
Gloucestershire: Shire Hall in Gloucester (11:00);
Greater Manchester/Yorkshire/Merseyside: Manchester to both Leeds and Liverpool (12:00);
Pembrokeshire: Irish Ferries blockade at Pembroke Dock (11:40).
London Area: Including M25:
Dover A2 and A20
25 March in
Hampshire: from M3 Junction 6 in Basingstoke in both directions (06:30).
