The following information was shared by the Metropolitan Police;

Can I please bring your attention to two parallel events on Saturday 16th March 2019 which may have an impact upon your business as usual.

STAND UP TO RACISM-: This march will form up in Park Lane at 1200hrs where they will then march to Whitehall for a Rally at 1530hrs which is due to end at 1630hrs (Route map attached shown in red)

SYRIAN SOLIDARITY CAMPAIGN MARCH AND RALLY-: This March will form up in Paddington Green at 1230hrs, move off at 1330hrs where they will then also march to Whitehall for a Rally at 1530hrs which is due to end at 1700hrs (Route map attached shown in green)

There is no anticipation of disorder at either of these events and there are no conflicts between the two groups and no counter demonstrations are anticipated.

As always, there is a proportionate Policing plan with regard to both events.
