The following information was distributed by the Metropolitan Police;

Can I make you aware of a demonstration taking place on Friday 8th March 2019 between 11:00 and 14:00 in Parliament Square.

This event is entitled “Youth Strike 4 Climate” and tactics previously used by this group include sit downs in roads and road blocks.

There is no anticipation of disorder.

These demonstrations will take place across the UK on Friday

A previous event by this group in London attracted 4,000 people but we currently do not have details of how many persons will attend Parliament Square on Friday.
