With regards to the below, the cordon has now been lifted and issue closed.

Aldgate East tube station

Police have set up a cordon outside Aldgate East tube station whilst they deal with an issue.

It is advisable to avoid the area until the issue is closed. At present it is not possible to access that tube station.
