UK weather: Warning upgraded to red as heavy snow hits UK There is major disruption on roads, the rail network and at airports as weather conditions intensify.
A suspicious package was reported at the Royal Opera House leading to emergency services evacuating the area. This has now been declared a false alarm and the emergency services have stood down.
Have been informed that emergency services have evacuated Covent Garden. At present the reason is unknown. More information to follow.
