From Thursday 18 until Sunday 21 January, roads, buses and stations in central London, in particular London’s West End, South Bank and King’s Cross areas, will be busier than usual each evening. This is due to the Lumiere London Festival.
• Road closures will be in place across central London between 16:30 and 23:30 from Thursday 18 until Sunday 21 January with dispersed traffic in areas outside of the immediate road closures
• Cyclists are advised that some Cycle Superhighways may be affected by road closures
• Santander Cycles will operate as normal, but please check availability on the day at tfl.gov.uk/santandercycles or via the Santander Cycles App
You can still get around London by using alternative routes and travelling outside of the busiest times where possible. Walking, Tube and Rail will be the best way to get around during the event, although stations will be much busier than usual, especially on Thursday 18 and Friday 19 January, between 17:30 and 18:30. Saturday 20 January is expected to be the busiest day.
Please allow more time for your journey. For full details, visit tfl.gov.uk/lumiere-travel
