Freecycle event times: 09:00 to 16:00
This is a family friendly ride for cyclists of all ages. The eight mile traffic free route around Westminster and the City of London is open to all. Seven festival sites hosting additional ‘cycling based’ activities are also located around the route. Westminster will host a festival site in Green Park and Aldwych.
Roads affected include: Strand > Aldwych (west side) > Lincoln’s Inn Fields > Waterloo Bridge > Victoria Embankment > Horse Guards Avenue > Whitehall > Great George Street > Birdcage Walk > The Mall > Duncannon Street.
Women’s Classique event times: 17:00- 18.45
Following the success of last year’s inaugural race, the UCI World Tour event will again take place involving approximately 100 of the world’s best female professionals in a 13 lap race.
Additional crossing points and stewarding will be in place this year to assist with pedestrian crossing of the route, especially on the Strand and around the Trafalgar Square area.
Roads affected include: The Mall > Constitutional Hill > Spur Road > Birdcage Walk > Great George Street > Parliament Street > Whitehall > Strand (up to but not including Aldwych) > Duncannon Street.

RideLondon-Surrey ‘100 and 46’ Ride event times: 06:00 – 16:30
A 100 mile (and a shorter 46 mile route) challenge involving 30,000+ cyclists.
All riders will start at Olympic Park and travel through Westminster as they proceed to Surrey before returning then via Chelsea Embankment and Whitehall to finish on Mall.

Outgoing: Victoria Embankment > Northumberland Ave >Cockspur Street > Pall Mall > St James Street > Piccadilly > Hyde Park Corner Underpass > Knightsbridge
Incoming: Chelsea Embankment > Grosvenor Road > Millbank > Whitehall > The Mall
London – Surrey Men’s Classic Race event times: 13:40 – 18:00
An elite men’s race for 150 riders will start at Horse Guards parade and will then follow the ‘100’ route from Hyde Park Corner. The men’s route will be ‘Police escorted’ to Hyde Park corner (traffic will be controlled by short holds), before entering the road closures already in place back to the Mall.
