Environmental activists acting in solidarity with protesters against the construction of a pipeline in North Dakota in the United States have made known their intention to conduct action in the City on Thursday 1st December. The proposed action is part of a wider call for protests against banks identified as having a role in financing the $3.8 billion pipeline. The only identified protest location will be at 280 Bishopsgate. However, it should be considered likely that attendees will proceed to other nearby location on foot.
Information obtained suggests that it is likely that activists will maintain a presence in London throughout the day. A pipeline-themed protest will be held in Parliament Square from 18:00hrs. However, no further locations for protest have been identified at the time of release.
