Great Fire of London – reminder

This is a reminder/update of a message sent out in August regarding an event taking place in London this weekend.

Over a 6 day period between Tuesday the 30th of August and Sunday the 4th of September there will be multiple events taking place in the City of London commemorating the 350th anniversary of The Great Fire of London.

On two of these days there will be multiple road closures which will be as follows:

Saturday 3rd September – Dominoes event
There will be multiple temporary road closures between 13:00 – 21:00hrs, to facilitate the build, the event and the clear up required for the event, affecting the inner roads of the City of London.

Sunday 4th September – London 1666 event
There will be road closures that will affect Victoria Embankment and access roads, Waterloo Bridge and Blackfriars Bridge between 17:00 – 23:00hrs.

New Bridge St
Northumberland Avenue (southbound)
Puddle Dock
Queen Victoria St (between Cannon St and New Bridge St)

Tudor St
Upper Ground (between Rennie St and Blackfriars Bridge)
Upper Thames St
Victoria Embankment
Waterloo Bridge
