This message has just been received from the Met Police. ‘The MPS Protective Security Command are aware of and reviewing information relating to the Terrorist attack that took place at Istanbul Ataturk airport during which a number of people were killed and injured.
Should any information specifically relevant to the protective security of the London be received we will ensure that businesses are updated through their CSSC Industry Sector Leads.’
Businesses are reminded that the threat to the UK from international terrorism remains unchanged at SEVERE, as it has been since August 2014, meaning an attack is highly likely.
