Vitality 10K – update

An update to message sent earlier regarding Vitality 10K
When: 29/05/2016 – 30/05/2016
Where: St James’s Park and surrounding areas
Westminster Mile and Vitality 10,000 (previously BUPA 10,000) is a running event over the forthcoming bank holiday weekend. A number of road closures around Westminster and St James’s Park will be in place for the events.
Closures on Westminster streets will be in place for Monday 29th May from 08:00 – 14:00hrs and include:

* Admiralty Arch
* Trafalgar Square (south side)
* The Strand
* Aldwych
* Fleet Street
* Chancery Lane
* Whitehall
* Parliament Street
* Parliament Square (north side)
* Great George Street
Full road closure information, including a list of all the roads that will close as a result of the Vitality Westminster Mile and Vitality London 10,000 events, can be found at http://www.vitalitylondon10000.co.uk/event-info/road-closures/ The schedule over the two days is as follows:
Sunday 29th May

* 08:00-08:30 – participant arrivals
* 09:00-15:30hrs – Races and presentations
* 15:30-17:00hrs – Site clear up
Monday 30th May

* 08:00hrs – Road closures in Westminster
* 08:00hrs – Queens Life Guard to be facilitated (normal route) * 09:55-12:30hrs – Vitality 10,000
* 14:00hrs – Roads reopen
