From tomorrow, Saturday 30 April until February 2018, there will be work on Tooley Street and Duke Street Hill between Borough High Street and Bermondsey Street. This is for Network Rail’s redevelopment of London Bridge station, as part of the Thameslink Programme.
Closure details

From 01:00 Saturday 30 April until 06:00 Tuesday 3 May, the roads will be closed in both directions. A signed diversion route will be in place; pedestrians will not be affected
•
From 06:00 Tuesday 3 May until February 2018, the roads will be closed eastbound only
Travel advice from Tuesday 3 May
•
Traffic will be diverted via Borough High Street, Great Dover Street and Tower Bridge Road. Westbound traffic will travel in the eastbound lane and the Congestion Charge will operate as normal

Cyclists will be able to travel in both directions throughout the works; pedestrians will not be affected, but the area will be busier than usual
•
Access to London Bridge station will be retained at all times. Eastbound buses will be on diversion; westbound buses will operate as normal
