On Sunday 24th April 2016 the 2016 Virgin Money London Marathon will take place impacting many areas of London as road and transport networks are closed or diverted to facilitate the event. There will be approximately 38,000 runners taking part in this years event.

London Marathon Ltd is the event owner and the MPS will work in partnership with London Marathon and other key partners to support them to deliver a safe and secure event according to our core responsibilities.

The attached message provides information in relation to the event from the Metropolitan Police Service.

Advice to Business:
