Operation Lightning New Reports

Since the last call we’ve had 1 Operation Lightning reports.

On the 10th March 2016, A City of London Police Officer observed a black Addison Lee mini-cab driving along Bread Street, in which the passenger in the rear of the vehicle was seen to film One New Change shopping centre with a mobile phone. The vehicle continued along Bread Street until turning into Queen Victoria Street. The male was described as being of an Asian appearance. CCTV and details of the vehicle have been obtained and enquiries are continuing.

Operation Lightning Previous Reports

On the 25th February 2016 in the Moorgate area, CCTV images were obtained and circulated and the incident has now been closed.

On the 26th February 2016 at Barbican Centre, CCTV images were obtained and circulated and the incident has now been closed.

Past Events

No incidents of note have been reported in the last week.

Forthcoming Events

On Saturday 12th March 2016 the group Class War will be holding a walk and talk event on the battle of cable street. The group will meet at Tower Hill station end up at the Jack the Ripper Museum on Cable Street.
