All,

This weekend, Saturday 1 and Sunday 2 August, the Prudential RideLondon cycling events will take place. There will be significant impact to travel with certain roads and river crossings in east, central and southwest London and Surrey closed to traffic.

Road users are advised to avoid areas near the event routes wherever possible. Tube and Rail will be the best way to get around and enjoy the day. Many buses will be on diversion or will stop short of their destinations.

Saturday 1 August
The event routes will go through central London, the City and Westminster. Certain roads and river crossings will be closed from 06:00 – 18:00.
Sunday 2 August
The event routes will go through east, central and west London as well as parts of Surrey. Certain roads and river crossings will be closed from early morning and will re-open when safe to do so. A number of bridges in London and Surrey, as well as the Blackwall Tunnel, will be closed for some or all of the day.
