LONDON UNDERGROUND

Line Incidents

Piccadilly Line: Minor delays while the service recovers from a late finish of engineering work at Arnos Grove.

District Line: Minor delays eastbound only, earlier signal failure at Earl’s Court. A GOOD SERVICE is operating westbound.

Circle Line: Minor delays clockwise only, due to an earlier signal failure at Earls Court. GOOD SERVICE on the rest of the line.

Station Incidents

Angel Underground Station: Reduced escalator service Monday 5 January until mid-July 2015. This is while we carry out planned refurbishment work. Please use the remaining escalators. The station may be busier at times, please allow additional time for your journey.

BRIXTON STATION: Escalator works: Due to planned escalator maintenance work until late July 2015, the station is likely to be busier than usual throughout weekday morning and evening peak hours. You may find it easier to travel outside these hours or to use nearby Stockwell Tube station during the busiest times

Canning Town Underground Station: Reduced escalator service from Monday 26 January until late April. This is while we carry out planned maintenance work on two escalators, one at a time. Please take care on the fixed stairs. Alternatively, use escalators, stairs or lifts further along the platforms.

EUSTON: No down escalator to the northbound Victoria line and Northern line (Bank branch) until late March 2015. Access will be via the spiral stairs only during planned escalator refurbishment. To avoid delays, use nearby Warren Street or King?s Cross St. Pancras instead. To change between branches, use Camden Town.

Earl’s Court Underground Station: Reduced lift service between the Earl?s Court Road ticket hall and Piccadilly line platforms due to maintenance work. One of the two lifts will be out of service until 18 March.

Elephant & Castle: We are continuing our work to improve the reliability and efficiency of the lifts serving both ticket halls at Elephant & Castle. During the work there will be a lift service to/from both ticket halls, however, queues are possible at peak times, so please allow a little extra time for your journey. There is a staircase to the platforms, so please take care if you do walk down.

GREEN PARK STATION: Reduced escalator service to the Victoria line from Monday 10 November until mid-March 2015. This is while we refurbish one escalator. Please use alternative escalators.

Green Park Underground Station: Reduced escalator service to the Jubilee line from Monday 26 January until mid-February. This is while we carry out planned maintenance work. Please use alternative escalators or take care on the stairs.

Holloway Road Underground Station: Reduced lift service Monday 5 January until late March 2015.This is while we carry out maintenance on both lifts, one at a time. During these works, please use the remaining lift or take care on the 62 stairs.

KENNINGTON: Reduced lift service from Monday 26 January until early March. This is while we carry out planned maintenance work on one lift. To avoid queues and delay use nearby Oval or Elephant & Castle stations. Alternatively, use the other lift or take care if using the staircase which has 79 steps.

KING’S CROSS ST PANCRAS UNDERGROUND STATION: Until July 2015, the three escalators between the Northern line and westbound Piccadilly line platforms are being replaced at the same time. Entry to and exit from the Northern line, and interchange between the Northern line and all other lines at the station are affected. Please follow the clearly signed alternative routes. Allow up to 15 minutes extra.

KNIGHTSBRIDGE STATION: No down escalator service from Sloane Street ticket hall from Monday 9 February until late February. This is while we carry out planned maintenance work. Please take care walking down the additional stairs. Alternatively, use escalators from the Harrods entrance on Brompton Road or local buses to nearby Hyde Park Corner station

MOORGATE STATION: The two escalators between the Great Northern platforms and the Northern line platforms will be taken out of service, one at a time from Saturday 29 March until December 2015. While each escalator is out of service, the remaining escalator will run up from the Northern line to the First Capital Connect platforms. Customers going down to the Northern line will only be able to do so via the spiral staircase at the end of platform 10. During peak hours customers entering the station will only be able to access the Northern line via the stairs and the spiral stairs from the ticket hall.

Seven Sisters Underground Station: From 21 November until June 2015 there will be no down escalator service at the High Road entrance of Seven Sisters Tube station. At busy times, you may find it quicker and easier to use the station entrance in Seven Sisters Road.

TOTTENHAM COURT ROAD STATION: Closed to Central line services from Monday 5 January until early December.

UPMINSTER STATION: Lifts to Platform 1 are out of service until further notice.

Vauxhall Station: No lift service between the bus station and the London Underground station until autumn 2015. If you are unable to use the stairs, please take bus 360 from stop B at Vauxhall to Pimlico station, which has ramp into the ticket hall, 8 steps and then escalator access to the platforms For Stockwell take bus 2 or 88 from stop D or bus 196 from stop G at Vauxhall. For Brixton ? take bus 2 from stop D or bus 196 from stop G at Vauxhall.

Victoria Underground Station: From Sunday 25 January, while we construct new lift shafts as part of our Tube improvements, queues are likely at busy times when changing between the Victoria line and District/Circle line platforms. If you are travelling at peak times, or with children or luggage, or have mobility impairment, you will find it easier to change between lines using one of the alternative routes listed on the Victoria information Page. If you travel via Green Park and Westminster, there are lifts available between platforms.

WEMBLEY PARK STATION: Reduced step free access until early April 2015.

WEST HAM STATION: No step free access to the Jubilee or District lines from Monday 8 September until late February 2015 while we refurbish two lifts. If you require step-free access, please speak to a member of staff, or call our Travel Information Centre on 0343 222 1234.

From Elgin Avenue at the junction with Chippenham Road divert via ahead Elgin Avenue, left Shirland Road to alight passengers on the temporary stand in the suspended parking bays just prior to stop ML on Shirland Road.

Route 228 towards Royal Middlesex Hospital

Will not be diverted and will follow line of route from temporary stand.

Route 414 towards Elgin Avenue temporary stand

From Shirland Road at the junction Malvern Road divert via left Chippenham Road, left Elgin Avenue to temporary stand just past Grittleton Road in the suspended parking bays.

Route 414 towards Putney Bridge

From temporary stand on Elgin Avenue divert via ahead Elgin Avenue, right Shirland Road to line of route.

The 3 way temporary lights at the junction with Kilburn Park Road, Shirland Road and Chippenham Road will continue to be operational for the full duration of this phase of the works.

In addition bus stop MD on Kilburn Park Road will be closed. Drivers on routes 31, 328, N28 and N31 are to serve the next available stop MM on Chippenham Road

ENGINEERS WAY HA9: Route 92 206 unable to serve Stop Olympic Way (54576) or Rutherford Way (57715) 0930 Monday 12 January until 1700 Friday 27 February due to diversion to carry out excavation works for electrical supply to Wembley Stadium.

GREAT WESTERN ROAD W11: Route 23 28 31 328 N28 N31 unable to serve Stop ‘A’ Westbourne Park Station (50245) from 0300 Monday 20 October until approximately March 2015 due to Crossrail sewer diversion works.

Bus Stop A outside Westbourne Park Station will be closed and a temporary stop will be provided on the approach, just south of Tavistock Road.

HIGH STREET WHITTON TW2: Route H22 unable to serve stop ‘A’ Whitton Station (76625) 0930-1530 daily until 7 May 2016 due to redevelopment work at Whitton Station. Work will be suspended from Wednesday 16 September until Monday 2 November 2015 for the Rugby World Cup.

LEWISHAM HIGH STREET/RENNELL STREET, SE13 ROUTE 108: From 2100 Saturday 24th January until further notice, buses towards Stratford start services on Thurston Road Bus Stand and are not serving Lewisham Centre (V) bus stop due to Lewisham Gateway Redevelopment. Stop ‘H’ Lewisham Police Station (58792) is also to be removed, next stop ‘J’ Lewisham Police Station is closest alternative.

Works for Phase 2 will be within the westbound carriageway and will be between Camberwell Church Street junction of Vicarage Grove and Peckham Road junction of Bushey Hill Road.

PROPOSED CHANGES TO ROUTE 462 IN THE FAIRLOP AND HAINAULT AREAS: Route 462 currently operates between Ilford and Hainault, The Lowe. We are proposing to re-route the 462 from Fullwell Cross via Forest Road, Elmbridge Road, The Lowe, Manford Way, Manor Road, Fencepiece Road, Limes Avenue and Copperfield to a new terminus at the southern end of the Limes Farm Estate.

PROPOSED REROUTEING OF ROUTE 100 IN THE CITY OF LONDON: We have developed proposals for route 100 at Ludgate Circus in the City of London and would like to hear your views. Route 100 operates between Elephant & Castle and Shadwell via Liverpool Street station. The proposed changes would mean the 100 would be re-routed via Queen Victoria Street. The route would no longer serve New Bridge Street, Ludgate Hill nor St Paul?s Churchyard.

A temporary route 528 operates, until late March, between West Middlesex Hospital and Osterley Library via Twickenham Road, Amhurst Gardens, London Road, Wood Lane, Jersey Road, Thornbury Road and St Mary’s Crescent, returning via St Mary’s Crescent and Ridgeway Road North to Jersey Road and then reverse of outward routeing to West Middlesex Hospital. This is due to the part closure of Thornbury Road requiring the diversion of Route H28. Connections between the H28 and 528 are available in Amhurst Gardens.

WOOD GREEN HIGH ROAD, ROUTE W4: From Monday 1 September until March 2015, Route W4 operates in two sections: Oakthorpe Park to Wood Green Station, and Turnpike Lane Station to Tottenham Hale, Ferry Lane Estate. At Turnpike Lane, buses start from Stop W in West Green Road, near Willow Walk

WOOD GREEN HIGH ROAD, ROUTES 121 232 and 329: From Monday 1 September until March 2015, no service between Wood Green and Turnpike Lane Station, please use connecting routes 67 123 141 184 N29 and N91. Buses will start from a temporary stop TS near Wood Green Bus Garage.

WOOD GREEN HIGH ROAD: From Monday 1 September until March 2015, Route 144 is diverted in both directions between The Roundway and Turnpike Lane via Westbury Avenue, not serving Lordship Lane or Wood Green High Road. Connections along Lordship Lane are available on Route 243, and on routes 29 67 123 141 184 N29 and N91 along Wood Green High Road.
