Justice For Mark Duggan, March and Vigil Monday 4th August 2014

There is a planned March and Vigil to mark the third anniversary of the death of Mark Duggan. The event will take place on Monday 4th August 2014, between 5pm – 7.30pm.

The group will form-up outside Tangmere House (Broad Water Farm Estate, Tottenham) from 5pm. Those assembled will then march to Ferry Lane via the following route: Gloucester Rd, Phillip Lane, Monument Way, The Hale into Ferry Lane. Here the group will assemble at The Green junction with Jarrow Road where a vigil will take place. It is due to end at 7.30pm.

It is anticipated that approximately 60 – 200 people will take part.

Other Parallel Events

There are a number of events occurring that day and there will be an increased police presence across central London.

An appropriate and proportionate policing plan is in place to deal with these demonstrations.

There is no current intelligence to suggest there will be any pre-planned disorder at these events.

Police Liaison Officers will be on duty throughout the day linking in and engaging with the demonstrators.
